How to Move a Pinterest Pin
Hey Pinners! Have you struggled with trying to move a Pinterest Pin from one board to another? Moving a Pinterest Pin is a necessary task. Sometimes Pins are saved to the wrong board or some Pinterest Pins may fit better on a newly created board. Moving a Pin is easy. Unlike some Pinterest tasks, moving Pins can be accomplished on the Pinterest Mobile App App and on desktop Pinterest. You can only edit and move a pin that you saved – to either your own board or a group board.

Log into your Pinterest account and choose one of the methods below to move a Pin. Select a pin that you want to move.
To move a Pin on the Android App:
- Tap the Pin you want to move to see the close-up view
- Tap on the pencil icon at the bottom of the pin [Figure 1]
- Tap on the current board name
- Select the new board from the dropdown menu
- The app brings you back one screen, tap “Save”
To move a Pin on the iOS App:
- Tap the Pin you want to move to see the close-up view
- Tap on the pencil icon at the top of the pin [Figure 2]
- Tap on the current board name
- Select the new board from the dropdown menu
- The app brings you back one screen, tap “Save”
Moving a Pinterest Pin via the desktop website is just as easy.
- Log into your Pintalk.net Pinterest account at Pinterest.com.
- Hover over the pin and click on the pencil icon
- – OR –
- Click on the Pin for the Close-up view
- Click edit
- Select the new board from the dropdown menu
- Click Save
