New Pinterest Account Layout
Hey Pinners! Have you seen the new Pinterest layout for desktop users? Maybe not since most Pinners use Pinterest via the mobile app. Pinterest hanged the desktop/website version. There are visual changes as well as minor adjustments to the profile as well as menu.
The first change is the missing verification checkmark. Pinterest Business accounts still have a domain name that is clickable and links to their website, but the checkmark is missing.
Pinterest Board Cover images
The new Pinterest website boards have rounded corners. This change makes them resemble the mobile app more. This is purely a cosmetic change and does not affect functionality.
Pinterest Profile Image
Pinterest accounts still have a round image. It is slightly larger than the old layout so you may want to revisit your profile photo or logo and replace if needed.
To edit your Pinterest profile photo along with your bio, click on the pencil icon at the top center of the screen. [1]
Business Account Basics
To edit any other account information such as notifications, apps, or your email address, click on the hexagon/nut icon [2] at the top of the screen.
Pinterest Promoted Pins
A drop down menu to your ad account (if you have a business account) is at the top center portion of the screen. [3]
Pinning
The plus sign create a pin button is no longer in the lower right corner for the desktop screen. It moved to the upper right corner. [4]
