Gray comes led the platform and partnerships group at GTB agency as their automotive and entertainment vertical strategy head. Pinterest opened a new office in downtown Detroit to add a new automotive sales team, which now reports to Gray.
Pinterest also brought on Arthur Sevilla, former Global Director of e-commerce and Strategy at Mondelez. Sevilla will serve as Pinterest’s Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) vertical strategy lead. Before Mondelez, he worked for Kraft Foods Group, Inc. As you may already be aware, Kraft has multiple Pinterest accounts and was an early adopter of recipe pins
Back in December 2016, Pinterest hired Walmart’s Brian Monahan as its new head of Vertical Strategy. As head of vertical strategy, Mr. Monahan will be responsible for developing marketing programs to drive revenue for Pinterest. These verticals include the previously mentioned CPG and automotive as well as retail, entertainment, technology, telecom, financial services, travel, and restaurants.
